One of the characteristics of people with Aspergers is that they focus a lot on details. David has always been fascinated by the small details of Dutch windmills. Below are thoughts from David himself about the artwork. Feel free to read his entire story här.
I enjoy Dutch architecture and their windmills. I like Italian buildings and a little fantasy style. So I mixed everything together and created a small town. I drew this drawing because I wanted to create a small town because it would look funny. My previous drawings were usually single buildings, but here I wanted to gather for a city."
