Asian architecture is something that inspires the artist David Cheung, perhaps because his parents come from Hong Kong. Below are thoughts from David himself about the artwork. Feel free to read the whole story of his life här.
-" I felt like drawing an Asian environment from my head. I like very Asian old-fashioned architecture, most temple architecture. I drew it here to create an Asian little village. One can see in the drawing that there are both rich and poor buildings. The poor buildings start from below. The higher you get up there will be more rich buildings. At the top of the temples are high officials and the royal family. The drawings are inspired by games and movies."
